Angela Bassett sits down with “Extra” in London to talk “Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning.” She said it was thrilling to be back after missing the last movie and talked about her character being president this time around and the responsibility that entails. Angela raved that Tom Cruise is “as good as it gets” as well as “charming” and “extremely generous” — though she does worry about his extreme stunts! She also revealed how she managed to get Tom Cruise to dance on set for his birthday! Turning to her show “9-1-1,” Angela reacted to the “inconceivable” death of Peter Krause’s character Captain Bobby Nash.
